Hi
I have a customer who has a number of Cisco SPA232D cordless handsets, when they try to call a paging bureau using a short dial they get engaged tone. Customer is able to make and receive calls normally on these phones and can use the short code on their 7861 deskphones.

Check the dialplan allows it.

Ran DNA on MAC address of one of the SPA232d's and all showing as ok

Been informed that the SPA232d's come with a basic dial plan pre-loaded on the base unit which needs to be amended. DNA passes ok because it looks at the dial plan on CUCM not the phone base unit

Amended dial plan on SPA232D to include short code but customer still getting engaged tone when dialling out. Calls don't appear to be hitting the call manager so unable to capture any logs

The dial plan allows the call it looks like it's a network issue with NOAS
