srst times

Ok I have some remotes sites with srst. If the wan fails, the phones register ok to the router...But the problem is that if for instance telco wanted me to reboot the router or If i needed to reboot the router and the wan was still down. The phones seem to take 10mins plus to reregister to srst. Is there any timer that can be added to make this quicker.

I don't think you would be able to do much about it..its all to do with timeouts! the phones must go through a sequence to try and reconnect to the Callmanager first etc.

I suppose the thing is not to reload the router,its always the Telcos answer "reload the router", how often does it fix the problem..rarely if ever!
