Hi,
after the upgrade from OS 2000.2.7sr8 to 2000.4.3a of a CCM publisher, some Cisco Call Manager services on this server (RIS data collector, CTI Manager e Call Manager) don't start because of a lack of CPU resources. The upgrade was ok, also the phase 3 was ok and all the update were installed correctly. It seemms that a service called System in the task manager take all the CPU resources.
Anyone knows what I have to do?
Thanks in advance
Antonio

From Microsoft:
Your Windows 2000-based computer stops responding, you cannot log on to Windows, or your CPU usage for the System process approaches 100 percent

I have applied the hotfix but it doesn't work.
The symptoms are similar to the ones described in the kb841382 (I haven't the files listed there) and in the forum.
I notice that:
1) the CPU usage of the System process is between 80% and 95% for about 55 minutes - 1 hour, then the CPU usage becomes normal
2) The services that dont't start are
- Ris Data Collector (sometimes it starts)
- CTI Manager (few times it starts, many times there is a popup alert with an error)
- Call Manager (it never starts)
After 1 hour I often try to restart Call Manager and it works only for 25 minutes, then there is a "strange" lack of resources.
The lack of resources is so tremendous that I can't open "Event viewer" or "Services" and I always need to shut down Windows.
