When registering phones using Taps, after keying the phone number a prompt is played that "taps encountered an unexpected error while processing your call".

I the mivr-log file there are a lot of entries with:

"MIVR-LIB-MEDIA-6-EXCEPTION"

Anyone?

Was the phone you are attempting to get configured with BAT with dummy MAC address?

Is the device model the same? It has to be exactly the same, for example configuring 7941G with 7941G-GE configuration will not work.

Also, is TAPS service running on CCM? Try restarting it.

Hi,

what versions are you running, crs and ccm ?

check out theese bugs, I have experienced the same twice.

1 you need to hav sr2 for ccm 4.1.3 - http://cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/Bugtool/onebug.pl?bugid=CSCsc03592)

2 But then there is something with crs 4.0.2 in basic mode - http://cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/Bugtool/onebug.pl?bugid=CSCsc09484.

Check if this helps you ?

I need to install TAPS on CCM 4.1(3) SR1. I dont have CRS at all. I am going to install Extended Services cm-es-ffr.3-5-3.exe on the CCM. But now am nervous by reading this thread..because my CCM is not running SR2. Should i really think about installing SR2? are there problems with SR1 and TAPS

Thank you in advance for you help.

Mario C.

I just did an implementation with CCM 4.1.3sr1 and CRS 3.5.3 and TAPS worked just fine.
