Testing Back-ups for CallManager

Is there a white paper or a "Best Practice" on testing the BARS restore for CallManager 4.1(3) SR2, using BARS 4.0(7).

Now I've looked at the BARS Admin Guide documentation for V4.0(2) and the release guide for 4.0(7) and neither of them say anything about how to test the backups.

I test it in the lab. Build off-site servers and restore from backup. If your budget allows get the same servers for lab as production. It'll be a lot easier. If not, general servers are ok. It's just takes longer to set them up since you can't use cisco OS image.

I also test upgrades in the lab first before applying in production.
