transfer of voicemail

We have Unity servers in different sites and domains. We want to be able to transfer voice mail between sites and colleauge's. We are running Exchange 5.5 on a Win2k Domain controller in mixed mode. I know that the Voice connector won't work on a DC, but is there another affective way to get the emails transfered?

Tom Brokaw
Network Engineer
Solucient, LLC

No I am afraid not. That would involve a complete reinstall. I wish we would have of done that, if so then we just could of used the Site and the replication connector. Any other suggestions?

hmmm... that kinda puts a hitch in your get along.

You can use blind addressing to do this but you don't get any kind of name confirmation which kind be kinda painful. You'd setup location objects that point to each of the remote Unity servers on every Unity box and users would forward/address messages using the location ID followed by the ID of the user at that location.

You can also create internet subscribers (contacts in Exchange) on the local Unity box that point to users in the remote sites. A lot more administration work but users could address by ID or name and would get name confirmation. Not sure how many users you're talking about here spread out over these systems... this might not be practical.
