Hi everybody. I would like to understand which IOS show command I should use to check how many call per seconds my gateway is handling (snapshot and history).

Thanks for any feedback

If you use the show call resource voice stats command you will get a snapshot of what is in use right now. I have not found a command that will give you a calls per second history. We have implemented an rsh to the gateway where we regurlary run a command to see what is in use and record this over time to determine the load and thus can do Erlang-B calculations on the channel usage. If you find a better way I'd too like to know.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm in your same situation regarding history statistics; probably VoIP Health Monitor could help but I was looking for something inside CLI.

Hi Terry I have checked this command output but it doesn't give to me what I expected.

Probably it's due to the fact that I have a wrong idea of the difference between call per second and simultaneous calls.

In my mind the simultaneous call are call made in the same moment while the call per second are how many call are active in a second so how many call are contemporary active in that period of time.

Well it's strange that from performance perspectives some router as 3620 can handle only 1 or 2 call active contemporary.
