I am trying to test the connection of VPIM between Unity and a remote voicemail system.
Under Primary Location and Delivery Location for SMTP domain , i have been getting conflicting answers as to what to put in there.
Is it suppose to be For example: (Unity server name).domain.cisco.com
or
domain.cisco.com

The SMTP domain that you put on the primary location object becomes the domain portion of the senders address for outbound message. It is not used at all of inbound messages.
For example, if my mailbox had extension 1000 and the SMTP domain was cisco.com, outbound VPIM messages would be from 1000@cisco.com.
Let me know if I just confused you more. :-)

Can the VPIM Location ID be the same as the Remote Phone Prefix?
