Unity - turning off MWI status

I've deleted a subscriber from Cisco unity but the message light is still lit up on the phone. How do I clear the light once the subscriber is gone?

Hi,

Just dial the MWI-Off extension# that you have created in the callmanager...(from that phone..)

I think the default is 1999, and 1998 to turn it on. Or simply restart the phone.
