Ok I have a Unity Server(in its own domain) and callmanager at 1 site with a t1 connection to the main site where exchange 5.5 is located on a nt4 domain. HTere is no ip telephony at the main site. The customer wants to go to Unified Messaging. My questions are

What is the best way to do this. Can I reinstall Unity and make it a member server of the nt4 domain? WIll I be able to install sql on a member server?. Or should I leave it in its own domain. If I do that how do I get Unified messaging to work. There exchange server is at the main site.

Thanks for any help here

Tony

You should reinstall Unity as a member server in the NT 4 domain. You should not install Exchange on the Unity server. You should also place the Unity server on the same side of the T1 link as the Exchange server.
