I'm trying to install Unity 3.1 on win2k server (no AD), the exchange version is 5.5. During the configuration wizard section when your asked to 'Choose the Exchange server in which to create new mailboxes' I'm getting error message ' namedprops error, HR=13fe2c'. I'm inputting the main exchange server and LDAP389 , DNS and WINS is ok.
The LDAP port is consistent across the site, i.e all exchange servers are using 389, the Unity install chose this as default. There is no AD at the customers site.
Can someone help,
thanks

Have changed LDAP port to 2015 across site, still getting same error message.

Is Exchange 5.5 off the Unity server? If so, did you make sure to install the Exchange 5.5 admin program on the Unity box? That's the only other thing that comes to mind here...

Hi,
There is no port conflict here as there is no AD using 389 so you can let exchange use the same ports.
This issue is solved by applying a hotfix over Unity 3.1.2
symptom:
During Configuration Setup, after entering server name and LDAP port
the following error is encountered: "NamedProps error, hr=140064". Setup will
not continue beyond this point.
Condition:
This is occurring for installations of Cisco Unity 3.1(1) and 3.1(2) on a
Windows 2000 member server in an NT 4.0 domain (Exchange 5.5 on box).
Workaround:
fixed in Cisco Unity 3.1(2b) and higher.
I will update your TAC case.
