upgrading from exchange 5.5 to 2k, one last ?

I have read everything online (I hope) about making the move from our exchange 5.5 server to Exchange 2K.

But I have a last question

When I do the upgrade will I have to remap voicemails with NT accounts? I am told I will have to do this and if so how can I get a report of each voicemail box and it's NT account?

Hello -

I do not think you will have to remap voicemail messages with your NT accounts. You will need to disconnect Unity from your Exchange 5.5 subscribers, then move the mailbox from Exchange 5.5 to the Exchange 2000 message store. Existing mail in the user's inbox will be retained.
