Unable to access Personal Directory, Fastdials, Call Manager Attendant Console. Event Log reports kCtiProviderOpenFailure : CTI application failed to open provider UNKNOWN_PARAMNAME : Reason Code 2362179683 appID : Cisco CTI Manager.

CTI Manager restarted with no luck. Callmanager 3.3(5). Suspect it has to do with access? Reset user password and PIN with no luck. Any help will do. Many thanks.

Check the 'hosts' and 'lmhost' files on the publisher and subscriber. They are located in the following directory 'C:\WINNT\system32\driver\etc' directory. If they are not correct please modified them, and go to save them, be sure to save them with no extension, otherwise Windows will ignore them. Please make sure that you have the "hosts" file populated with both the publisher and subscriber information. This will allow CallManager to resolve the name for DC Directory.

Go to Start --> Run --> CMD

Use "nbtstat -R" to reload the NBT name cache.

Use "nbtstat -c" to verify what is in the cache.
