We are looking into using touchscreens for some wayfinding, among other things, and I am looking for information on how they work with the DMPs.
Currently we are displaying a rotation of static images with a few videos on our system. We would like to have these specific screens show interactive wayfinding, but I'm not sure how to construct that kind of presentation for use with a touchscreen on a DMP 4400G.
We are currently using DMM 5.3 and DMP 4400G endpoints. AppSpace might be the best solution, but we are not in a position at this time to afford the cost of upgrading.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Michael.
I have tried a ELO 4600L
Part Number# E960985
Inteletouch display with the dmp4400.
After Telling DMP it has a touch display it acts pretty much like a mouse.
Load a web page in the dmp and you can click around.
Currently we are using Industry Weapon for our control and content and it has built in support for touch locations.
See supported touchscreen drivers:

Also see for control of the ELO:

The ELO displays work well but are heavy, Metal case built very strong.
Good Luck.

Thanks for the info. That sounds like how I thought it would work.
How many DMPs do you manage? Our system is over 250 across 12 locations. How do you like Industry Weapon? Is it user friendly?
One feature we are looking for is being able to schedule individual pieces of content to play in certain locations on certain days. For example, I have 6 main campuses, and each has at least one presentation specific to that campus. I would like to schedule a message to display system-wide for two weeks. Currently, we just add the image to each presentation, and then pull it out when it's supposed to end. What I'd like to be able to do is add content to the system, then schedule it to insert at (locations) starting on (date) and stopping on (later date). My individual users at each campus would like this, too, rather than the manual adding and removing of content to and from playlists in the current system.
I'd also like to be able to set a rotation weight or number of impressions per hour if possible, rather than adding the same piece into a playlist multiple times. Do you know if this is possible with IW?
Thanks for your help.

Michael,
We have about 165 signage players across a campus of 19,000 students in multiple buildings and a remote campus.
Industry Weapon is a Great product for running Emergency alerts and to corectly format the content from our department's to run well on the dmp's.
(Our content is produced by multiple departments and sometimes they would crash the dmp's by not formating content. IW formats the content to run smooth on the dmp's)
( It also returns to the original content after emergency alert*****.)
We have a mix of DMP4400G, 4310 & a few android players.
It is very customizable on the display and magement of content.
We have almost droped using our DMM except for running the multicast streams.
Have about 30 channels of DirectV and encoded streams of local content.
IW can display single streams but no cast menu yet.
I beleve that most if not all of your scheduling questions can be accomplished with IW.
They have a way to setup a basic system for demo and controls a DMP so you can get the feel of how it operates.
Note: they do have some options modules like weather and monitor control that are purchased separately.
Industry Weapon is very good at customer support.
If you have any questions they will get them answered quickly.
It has made a big difference on reliability and ease of use by non-tech personel.
