Very New please advise

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this but here go's.

I have a PIX 501 and want to open ports 3782,3783 TCP&UDP for sockets used by Roger Wilco.

would i use somthing like...

conduit permit tcp eq 3782 any any ?

conduit permit udp eq 3782 any any ?

please advise, i am very new and don't want to mess this up:)

I would use:

conduit permit tcp range 3782 3783 any

any

conduit permit udp range 3782 3783 any

any

Instead of “any” you may want to be more specific as to which hosts you are allowing these connections to and from. Also, don’t forget to setup a static translation for the host that will be connected to from outside.
