VG 248 and port 0.

After VG 248 registered and configured, I noticed on CCM there are 49 ports , besides the 48 ports there is also a (00)[VMI] port. Where this come from, is this the Async prot to send the SMDI infomation to mail server?

That is correct, its the way the VG248 works it has the built in SMDI interface, if you are not using it just ignore it, it will not cause any problems.

But if I use this port for SMDI communication with mailserver, do I need to configure this port? Or just leave it? Thanks
