VG-248 Modem to Modem connections are slow

Hi,

We have a VG248 1.2.1 ES and modem calls outgoing to ISP such as Earthlink connect fine but whenever we do a Modem to Modem Connect it's really unreliable and slow. I've tried it with many different Modems from Zoom External, Hayes, US Robotics, Laptop Modems. Using any of the given modem on a POTS line = Better results. Is there any setting I can try on the Cisco Router 1760 ? It goes out on our PRI

We have CCM 4.0(1) and IOS version on 1760 is 12.3-11.T3....Like I said POTS connections get above 33.6k evertime when doing Modem-Modem and doesn't disconnect the call. Modem-Modem on the VG248 gets below 33.6k and disconnects the call frequent. Could it be a Line Clocking issue on the 1760? Fax work ok, Incoming+Outgoing
