Has anyone managed to get a VG248 to connect a V.90 modem at greater than 33K ?, I have several modems on a VG248 going out of a 2600 g/w on the same subnet (simple modem passthrough), when using an ATA186 (not supported I know !!) the modems connect at 56K ?.
Thanks
Paul

Paul, have you tried this using VG248 software version 1.2(1)? Also, what are the port specific parameters configured for on the port?

The version of code is version 1.1(2.29) - A TAC special !. I did not release that 1.2.(1) is out, I will download and check this out. The port specific parameters have Fax relay disabled:-
Status (enabled)
Call control mode (standard)
Caller ID (enabled)
MWI method (lamp)
Call supervision method (none)
Input gain (0)
Output gain (0)
Dialing digit detection (default: use DSP)
Fax relay (disabled)
Fax relay ECM (disabled)
Fax relay NSF (preserve value)
Passthrough mode (default: automatic)
