VG248 to work with FAC

Hi,

I am using VG-248 with analog phones and CCM version 4.1.3. I just want to use FAC Codes for dialout to ISD nos.

Does this VG-248 supports CCM Forced Authentication Codes.

Sure, you can use FAC with VG-248 phones.

Make sure your route patterns have FAC enabled and set the CSS and partitions for the VG248 phones to use those route patterns.

Hi Gautam,

Have a look at this info for FAC and CMC for CCM 4.1.3. Here is an excerpt from the guide:

"The CMC and FAC features work with all Cisco IP Phone models and MGCP-controlled analog gateways."

Thanks for the reply. But i want to connect Analog phones to VG248 gateway and the VG248 will remain registered with CCM 4.1.3.

Then will FAC work with analog phones. Thats what my query is. Helpful if I can get some link for configuring the VG248 also for analog phones.

Yes, FAC will work with analog phones connected to VG248.
