VIC2-2FXS config for integrating into Valcomm Paging System

Does anyone know how to configure a VIC2-2FXS card so that we can connect a Valcomm Paging system into it? We are using MGCP on the router. Not sure what other info ya'll need. Thanks in advance.

Within call manager, all you need to do is set an extension that you would like to use for paging, on the FXS port. You do this on the gateway configuration for the FXS port.

What type of Valcom Paging System. I have used Valcom as well as other paging systems and have not had an issue.

We are setting it up to use Valcomm V-2003A. There is also some configuration we have to do on the router too, right? Our router is a 2811. Thanks for the info.

To intergrate with an FXS line you are going to need a v-9970 or v-9940 in front of that v-2003A. There is no special config required on the Cisco side. Just hook it up and dial the ext.
