I just implemented visual voicemail using CUCM 7.1(3) and Unity Connection 8.0; everything seems to work, however, when I try to play a message it dials 5555, then, of course, it plays the message "your call cannot be completed as dialed" recording.
Any idea what I am missing here?
Did you configure a new Visual Voicemail Pilot # as described in the attached doc?
I´m setting up Visual Voicemail on a Unity 7.0(2) ES 35 box, following the guide, and running into the same issue. Have you found a solution to this?

I got it working, I was missing "Pilot Number for TRAP Connections" under connection administration.
I envy you! Sadly, I have Unity and not Unity connection, so I have no such parameter. Thanks, anyway!
I found my error. I was using an extension with asterisk (*) at the beginning, which Unity seems not to like in the Call Routing Table (despite showing me no error messages).
