If you're using Exchange, voicemail messages are stored in a .stm file on the server, not in an accessible .wav file. The .stm (stream) file is where Exchange stores attachments. If you use Outlook or Outlook Web Access to access your voicemail, you can certainly save a copy of the message as a .wav from there.
