VOIP: Disconnect Cause=41

Hi All,

Some call on our 3640 gaetway are getting discopnnected with teh disconnect cause 41.

Disposition=0, Interface=0x63BFE6D8, Tag=0x0, Call Id=694,

Call Entry(Disconnect Cause=41, Voice Class Cause Code=0, Retry Count=0)

03:45:44: //694/8EECC2C4814F/CCAPI/cc_api_call_disconnect_done:

peer 230 is was used for outbound leg.

show dial-peer voice 230 gives:

Last disconnect casue is "29 "

last disconnect text is "temporary failure (41)"

The network between gateways is a Eth LAN and has no problems.

You better post here an H.323 or ISDN Q.931 (if you use ISDN interface to the remote location) trace.

Hi, the disconnect cause of 29 means facility rejected. in other words whatever the facility the user requested, the network can't provide it. the disconnect cause of 41 means a temporary network failure. i hope this helps.
