VoIP failover scenario

I have following setup,

PBX--VoIP GW-------IPWAN---Callmanager cluster.

VoIP gateway is MGCP . PBX is configured such a way that VoIP trunk is first option and PSTN is the second option for making long distance calls.

If VoIP link fails ( such as Callmanager is down or IPWAN between VoIP GW and CM cluster is down) is there a way VoIP gateway shut down the tie line between VoIP GW and PBX ?? PBX can route the call to PSTN correctly if the controller port is down.

Thanks

Robert

Yes, you can use the Advanced Voice BusyOut feature for this.

Check this link for more details

Thanks for the response. Will these Monitor probes generate additional traffic on the WAN ?
