Recently far end users have started to exeprience call drops over the WAN from many of other connecetd sites. Typically at each location we are using c3662 routers with either E&M or FXS/FXO ports plugged into the the PABX.
The setup has been working for over a year now without many issues, but recently users are experiencing (only on a small proportion of calls) a "click" noise then the call dropping after a few seconds. The user must redial.
I`ve checked our policy maps and they report no drops, also the interfaces look clean....so i`m a bit stuck. My first opinion was that it could be IOS - but it had been working fine for a longtime.
Further to that it seems to point more towards a common problem as a number (but not all) sites have reported it.....
Has anyone seen this type of "clicking and dropping" before.
