Hello,
Does any one know why do we have to program a VoIP dial-peer when we are doing H450.2 transfer either in SRST or CME.
Thanks in advance.

H450.2 or H450.3 doesn't necessarily require any VoIP dial-peer. VoIP dial-peer is only required when you will connect maybe two CME systems and forward/transfer calls among them using H450.
In a standalone CME box with IP Phones registered to it, call forward and transfer between those IP phones will use H450.3 and H450.2 if configured.

Hello Partha,
I was seeing the admin documents for SRST and CME h450 transfer and in those documents I see a dial-peer voip added.
Please advice.
Thanks,
Radhika.

Just an example considering you have another voip destination which understands H450 and can do the h450 transfer and forward.
