Issues with pinging outside of Vlan on Nexus 5596 to Nexus 7009

I recently installed two Nexus 7009's connected via VPC Peer link to each other.  I then connected tow Nexus 5596's to the 7k via double sided VPC.  I also had the 5596's joing the VTP domain located on the 7ks.  I can not ping outside of a VRF from devices connected on the 5k's  I have 3 vrfs created on the 7ks  INSIDEVRF, TESTVRF, DATAVRF.  The device is currently on a vlan that belongs to the DATAVRF.  I can ping any device that is located on the DATAVRF but can not ping or connect to any other VRF.  Any assitance with this would be greatly appreciated

i forgot the servers that Im trying to ping to are connected to Nexus 2ks that are connected to the 7k

Hi Rob,

From the Nexus 7k can you ping hosts in different vrf when sourcing from DATAVRF? if No then you should see if you are leaking routes between vrfs correctly or not?
