N7K F3 mixed with M2

Hi.

Are there restrictions and issues when F3 card is mixed with M2 cards?

I assume there's no more issue of L3 Proxy mode with F3 cards.

Please advise.

Hi,

You can have VDC for either F3/M2 or F3/F2/F2e . You will be limited to the lowest common denominator features.

What about issues on L3 proxy using M cards?

Does F3 has this limitation similar to F2e?

If you drop F3 in the same VDC as M1/M2 and you want to know if the F3 be a L2 only card and reply on the M series of proxy L3 or will be a L3 card in it's own right, in this case it will be an L3 card. M2 will be brought down to the capability of F3.
