I am trying to create a double-sided vPC between 4 Nexus switches. I have two NX 7004 switches at the aggregation layer, and i'm connecting them downstream to two NX 5548 switches. All links are 10GE between them. As i try to set the configuration of the port-channels (more specifically the command "vpc #" i get the following error message on all switches:
ERROR: Operation failed: [Interface is not capable of acting as vPC]
The 7Ks are connected to each other by using Peer-Links and a Keep-Alive, as well as the 5Ks.
What does this error message mean? Is it a module problem?
