2924 switch - Erase command not visible

Erase command not visible

I have a 2924 switch (connected via a console port) which is being taken out of service. In enable mode I am unable to use the "erase" command. i.e it is not listed as a command when I do a ?.

I want to erase the config on the switch and return it to the stores. Anyone have any ideas?

Just get into the switch in enable mode , type "write erase" and reload the switch , if asks you to save the config say no . Switch will be at factory defaults after reload .
