3560 cab-sfp-50cm gbic errors

Hi,

i have a number of 3560 switches, powered and non powered, which i want to stack with the cab-sfp-50cm cables. IOS is 12.2.20SE4.

However, i get this error:-

%PM-4-ERR_DISABLE: gbic-invalid error detected on Gi0/2, putting Gi0/2 in err-disable state

I have tried shut/no shut, auto-neg trunking, static trunking, and a comprehensive search and can find no incompatibility problems posted anywhere.

Do i need a later ios release ? These switches are new out of the box today !

Am i missing some fundamental piece of configuration ?

The CAB-SFP-50CM is first supported with 12.2(25)SEA software. Try upgrading to 12.2(25)SEB which is on CCO.

Ok, many thanks for the info.

Unfortunately i dont have access to CCO, so will be on to my supplier.
