We have a 4506 switch with Supervisor Engine 2+.
The IOS we use is 12.2(20)EW (cat4000-i9s-mz.122-20.EW.). That is S4KL3-12220EW - Cisco IOS software for the Catalyst 4500 series switch, basic Layer 3 and voice software image (RIPv1, RIPv2, Static Routes, AppleTalk, and IPX), Release Software Routing, But with is software I can configure eigrp and it works.
Whether I can use eigrp or not with this version of software ?

Hi,
Yes, this IOS supports EIGRP and you can configue this on 4500 series. Here are the release notes for cat 4500 :

This may be true for Sup 3,4 or 5 but posed this question awhile back they came back and told me it was not officially supported on a Sup II + , maybe someone can verify that . These protocols do indeed seem to work on the surface on a II + because I have them working in the lab .

So, after all, can we use eigrp with this version of software with supervisor engine 2 + ?
