We are purchasing 2 x 9500-40x switches with Network Advantage licenses. We are going to run Stackwise Virtual on the 2 switches to stack them as one. We would like to then run HSRP between the 9500 stack and a 4506-E switch.
Is this a supported configuration?

HSRP? Why not Etherchannel?

We currently have 2 x 4506E switches in 2 different data centers that run HSRP.
We are replacing one of the 4500 switches with a 9500 stack. The only way to stack a 9500 is using stackwise virtual. I need to be sure HSRP can run on this stack.

I think HSRP is not supported on the C9500-40X.

When you deploying Standalone mode in 2 DC like your old setup you can un HSRP, but if you doing SVL, its already single Logical switch, so your virtual IP just becomes SVI in the switch.
but you looking different i guess here but we need more information or high level diagram ?

You don't need to run HSRP as Stackwise Virtual eliminates the need for it.
