Hello,
I recently installed a 16AM on a 2610 router.
I configured the async 33 interface to accept incoming call everything is ok but after connected (using my laptop modem) I can't ping outside the Ethernet inteface.
I enabled routing and directed-broadcast on the eth and async33 interface ... but no way to make it ping the internal lan interface.
What should be the "state-of-the-art" configuration to dial-in into a LAN ??
Thanks in advance
Regards
Dan

async configuration...
line 1
modem autoconfigure discovery
modem inout
transport input all
login local
autoselect ppp
int async 1
ip unnumbered e 0
enc ppp
async mode interactive
peer default ip address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
If your laptop has got ip address which is from your ethernet lan, you are not able to ping your ethernet ip address that might be some problem.

I have the same problem but instead a Ethernet interface I have a Token Ring Interface, so you still having the problem? How you resolve it? I´m with the same problem but I don´t know how to solve it!

The problem was in the static routing table.
I had to include all interface's networks manually.
