May be..Are you a CCO registered user? You need a CCO account to download the software inage.

Well, I am a registered CCO user or I couldn't use the forum, but I do not have a Smartnet or TAC account.

Hi,
Please go to the www.cisco.com and go under the Technical Support
and click on Software Center. Then, login with your CCO login and password.
Then, click on Cisco IOS Software and choose the your platform, version and feature set.
Thanks,
Chinh

I'm afraid the basic CCO account/login isn't enough to get IOS software, which is VERY unfortunate, and gives major problems for many Cisco customers. Hope Cisco would change their policy on this!

CCO account should be enough to get ios..You need to have a valid contract to get the cco account which allows you to get ios updates and other benefits..
