ATM B2B connection SVC setup

Hi ,

I am trying to set up an SVC between two routers that are connected back-to-back via ATM interfaces. When I set up the following configuration , I can see the signalling events in the debug output but I am not able to ping the interfaces. Is it possible that I am entering the nsap addresses that I wrote down , not the interfaces' real MAC addresses ? How can I find out the real MAC addresses of the interfaces?

Thanks ,

You can see the MAC address of the interface using the show interface command, but the ATM ESI address can be assigned as you've configured and it should work. Verify the NSAP addresses on the switch using the show atm and ensure that the same one is configured on both ends. You could also use ilmi and qsaal with the ATM ESI as in the rfc 1577 configuration.
