Hi all,
I would like to automate the backup of the configurations of our catalyst 6509.
Does anyone know a way to do this, using the snmpset command for example?
I don't have CW2000...
Thanks a lot for your help.

There are a few tech tips for using this at: http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/477/SNMP/snmp-indx.html

Thanks for your help, but....
I already checked these links, but it's not very clear for the catalyst 6509...
in fact, if I use the snmpset command with the following OID: .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.55.xx.xx.xx.xx (xx.xx.xx.xx being the IP address of the TFTP server) it works for the routers, for Catalysts 35xx, and for the MSFC cards, but not for the 6509 itself. I got the followinf error message:
SNMP: variable does not exist
So, I guess I have to use another OID? but which one?
I don't even know if what i want to do is feasible...
If anyone has another idea, it will be more than welcome.
Thanks by anticipation.
