We hv 2mb LL (fiber) from our ISP..Can we assign 128K to one Network segment and remaining b/w to the other network . ( Routers E0 and E1 is diff network ( cisco 2621 ))

i hv configured rate-limit for input and outputs with a burst limit of 8000 for max and min..
do i need to give access group cmd in the particular interface..
i hv given access-list rate-limit 101 then MAC of the interface

Hi,
configure access-lists based on destination subnet on which you want only 128kbps and apply on the Serial Interface (2 mb LL)with the burst size (both min and max) to 128k.

what i did was,i hv configured at ethernet 1 interface - rate-limit for input and output with a min and max burst ...then access list in global mode..
what i shd do in Serial interface?
