Can't trunk across media converters

I can't trunk across media converters. I turn off trunking and it passes data.

Any Ideas?

Need more info , what switches you are using , the switch config if possible. also i believe some media converters will not trunk so you may have to replace the converters with ones that will .

It may be that the converters (give us some details / model numbers) are buffering the incoming frames to convert them (frame-by-frame).

If that's the case, then the buffer of the converter may not be able to handle the larger (tagged) frames. It may be seeing them as giants and dropping them.

Post up some details and we'll take a look.
