Hi there,
I done some flash upgrades on my cisco router 4500 series.Since it cannot boot up eventhough go through several step or procedures on password recovery it still return to rommon. here is the output:

device does not contain a valid magic number
boot: cannot open "bootflash:"
boot: cannot determine first file name on device "bootflash:"

Tried to use xmodem for this kind of disaster but the command seems to be no available...any step by step link to recover the problem?

Can you please tell me how you solved this problem, i have got this same problem on one of my C837 routers and can not seem the TFTP and xmodem...
