Cat6500 Fan tray and power supply incompatibility?

Hi,

I tried to convert from hybrid to native mode on Calayst6509 with Sup1-MSFC1, FAN:WS-C6K-9SLOT-FAN (not FAN2) PS:WS-CAC-1300W. After the conversion the following error message appears:

00:03:19: %C6KENV-SP-4-FANHIOUTPUT: Version 2 high-output fan-tray is in effect

00:03:19: %C6KENV-SP-4-FANPSINCOMPAT: Fan tray and power supply 1 are incompatible

00:03:19: %C6KENV-SP-2-SHUTDOWN_SCHEDULED: shutdown for power-supply 1 scheduled in 300 seconds

I have seen this in the past. The chassis idprom believes the FAN tray is High speed fan(Fan2). In 12.2 images, we have a CLI to force the fan tray version

12.1 images do not have this command. Please open a TAC case to get assistance
