Catalyst 4948-10GE X2 Transceivers & 6500 10-Gigabit XENPACK Transceivers?

Are the 10-Gigabit X2 Transceivers (X2-10GB-SR) for the Catalyst 4948-10GE the same as the 10-Gigabit XENPACK Transceivers (XENPACK-10GB-SR) for the Catalyst 6500?

The documentation doesn't state this but the images of both items look the same?

Hi Andy,

No, Both the module are different. Xenpack Transceivers are supported only on 6500,3750,7600 and CRS-1 routers. X2 Transceivers are suported only on 4500 and 4900 series switches.
