CCIE R/S lab IOS version capability

Dear Sir!

My colleague attempted to pass CCIE R/S lab a few time ago in San Paulo, Brazil. There are IOS 12.1.5T - deffered release!!! only in all of routers (except 3550, of course). And there were some mistakes in 12.1.5T, because some portion of exercise don't run at 12.1.5T, but run with 12.2 in our laboratory.

My Q: is there are any capability to change IOS version during CCIE lab from DEFFERED releases to normal 12.1 which REALLY working?

Nick,

In the CCIE lab you work with what they give you and if you feel that there is a problem with an IOS release then you are more then welcome to bring this to your proctor's attention. They will determine a course of action from there.
