CDP Problem

We use CDP in our network and when I run "sh cdp nei" the Entry Address(es) field is blank. I have verified that cdp is enabled on the correct interfaces and that the same version (v2) is being used. Anyone know why this happens? Other switches are fine... this is only on a few switches. I have tried doing a "clear cdp table" also.

what type of switches are the ones in question, and what are the devices that are connecting to them which are not showing up as a CDP neighbor?

Try doing a clear interface " on each end of the connecting links . I have seen on some switches where cdp does not even work until you do a "clear interface" command on each side of the link . Thes were generally older 2900xl switches that we had this problem on . Haven't seen it on most of the newer models.
