Cisco CNS NetFlow Collection Engine missed flows

We have a customer who uses Netflow Collection engine V3.6(1) to monitor Cisco 7200 and some Cat 6509 switches running IOS V12.1(13)E1.

Works ok for 7200 but it misses flows for the 6509s - in fact it only gets a tiny fraction of the flows and misses millions.

How do you configure the netflow on the 6509?

The 6500 have two components a router called msfc and a layer 2 switch controlled by the msfc router. Both has to be configured to deliver netflow information. The main part will be from the switch because after a flow is initialised it passes only the switch. The router is able to deliver the router netflow formats and the switch use the slightly different formats. The switch has 3 different formats for the transport: "destination", "destination and source", "full flow" means destination, source and ports. This controls the size of the forwarding table. It should not exceed 32K entries.
