how can i troubleshoot the Cisco7206VXR ios. i've got Rommon prompt.

The first thing to do is to see if you have an IOS image in flash. dir flash:. If you do, try booting it, boot flash:filename.
Have a look at your configuration register (confreg from ROMMON or show vers from IOS). It should be 0x2102.
If you can boot, and the configuration register is correct, have a look at the system boot commands in the config.
Otherwise, post the console output during boot and we can have a look at it.

i was trying to type boot flash: but it does not exist
I have only bootflash and disk2

Is there a valid boot image on either of those? dir bootflash: or dir disk2:?

yes
on disk2 thare are two valid image, it tried to boot in without success.
on bootflash thare is one valid image, i tried to boot in without success.
Any idea?

What actually happens when you try and boot from boot bootflash:filename ? Could you post the output please, as well as that from the dir commands?

I had similiar issues with a 7206VXR with a G1 processor. It would only boot code 12.3 and above. Try a code in the 12.3 family and it may work.
