What kind of DB exactly does CiscoWorks run on? Does anyone know of NetViz being able to make ODBC calls into this DB?

I've found a couple of references to "RME's SQL database" on the web, but nothing conclusive.
It is obviously possible because Kenson Network Engineering sell a tool to interface between CW2000 and netViz (see http://www.kenson.co.uk/products/netviz_cisco.htm
for more info). I assume that because they are able to sell a tool to do this, it isn't that easy to achieve.

Looking at the ODBC Data Source Administrator on my CiscoWorks 2000 LMS server on the Driver Tab the "CiscoWorks Embedded Database" driver manufacture is version 7.00.03.2128 Manufacuture is Sybase, Inc. So I am going to believe that ANI, RME and CMF are all Sybase based Databases.

Again, Thank you all very much. It turns out that NetViz and Kenson work together to get data from the CiscoWorks tool. This is exactly what I was looking for...the ability to extract inventory information and be able to post it to NetViz.
