ConfigChange Detector

The above process does not seem to start automatically on boot on my lms 4th edition server. This causes problems when a config change takes place. Is this process supposed to start on startup of the other LMS processes? If not can this be set to auto start?

TIA

I guess one needs to register to get the config-change. Anyone please correct me if I am wrong.

This is a transient process, which means it runs 'on demand' only. I'm not sure by which process or action it is invoked, but it might be Schedule Collection or Update Inventory in RME's Inventory, which you can schedule yourself. In RME's Change Audit, you should see 'all' changes made in your network devices. Apart from that, you can arrange that device configurations are automatically archived when a change occurs: see General Setup in Configuration Management. This archiving is great, but does not always work for all devices...
