Hi all, here we use a vpn client at home to connect to my work place, I have the details, likeip. passwords etc, What I was wondering is if its possible for me to configure my router to initiate the connection rather than the vpn client ?
is this possible ?
thanks

router cannot initiate a remote-vpn session.. it can initiate only a site-to-site vpn session... for remote-vpn, the client should initiate an IKE session....
hope this helps.. all the best..

Are you thinking about Easy VPN?

hi
I feel you are asking for the reverse kinda setup which we normally do with Easy VPN Client.
I dont think thats possible coz you may not be able to mention up the remote peers with which it can initiate the tunnel..
Since the ip addressing for the remote clients will be dynamic it wont be possible out here..
if you have something else in mind pls do keyin bck.
