Debugging ISDN

We have an dialer interface that occassionally sets up a call for no apparent reason

I wanted to issue a "debug dialer" command on this router and send the output to a file so that the next time this occured I could find out what protocol is causing this.

Is there a way to send the output of a debug command to a file for capture instead of a display?

Hi,

When the ISDN line is up, u can issue the command "Show Dialer" and find the reason for the dailup.

OR

If ur using Hyperterm (Hilgraeve, which comes with windows)to connect to the router, Choose "transfer" from the toolbar and choose the option "Capture Text"

This will give the output to a txt file.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

FG
